This is a fun short demonstration video that was created for the Davis Phinney Victory Summit, focusing on exercise. A Total HealthWorks Total Parkinson's class with three levels of effort: chair, low-impact, and high-impact. Between the rounds of cardio, participants engage in exercises that focus on cognitive ability.
Remember if you are new to exerise you want to work in the range between 40-60% of Maximum heart rate or betwwen 1-2 on a Rate of Perceived Exerercion Scale of 1-10 (1 being easy to talk and 10 being extremely difficult to talk). If you have an aerobic base built you can work between 80-85% of MHR or 6 or 7 on the PRE scale. Always listen to your body and bring things down whenever you need a recovery throughout a workout.

Before undertaking any course of exercise or workout herein or any variations thereof, the person with Parkinson’s should consult their own medical professionals and discuss such exercises in detail. If a course of exercise described herein is selected, with the approval of a person’s medical professionals, it should be undertaken with the knowledge that this is a online video workout and any and all risks are taken by the person with Parkinson's who knows their limitations and risks.
